Great Trevillian Farm walks and fishing lake

Enjoy a stroll on the farm. A pleasant walk, with small signs indicating the way, is to take the lane (an abundance of wild flowers during the summer season) down to the tiny stream and ford, then proceeding over to the small lake (a naturally occurring stream fed lake), through the fields and back to the holiday cottage.  As well as being a good venue for picnics the lake also offers the opportunity for coarse fishing. The lake was restocked with a variety of fish during 2004 -interestingly the lake retains fish that had found their way into the lake naturally, probably via the feet of storks or other migratory birds. Naturalists may be lucky enough able to spot various wildlife; including kingfishers and other birds attracted to the lake.
