Polzeath
Polzeath
is just across the estuary from Padstow, is 2 miles from Rock and
is a tiny village with an excellent and large sandy beach, flanked by steep
cliffs. A stream runs into the beach. A good surfing beach and attractive
coastal walks. Polzeath has a number of waterside shops, cafes and pubs.
There is a large car park. Near the top of the hill leaving Polzeath
is the very popular The Oyster Catcher pub. The Saltwater Bistot has a
highly quality menu at a reasonable price. Right by the beach is a pub
(log fire during the colder months) with extensive outdoor seating overlooking
the beach and sea (enjoy the views will you take your meal or drink).
