‘Woodgers’ is an impressive luxury semi-detached
house dating from the 16th century amidst lovely countryside in the hamlet
of Gwennap, 8 miles from Falmouth & Truro & 5 miles to Penryn,
South Cornwall. The house is just north of Falmouth and is a great place
from which to explore this part of cornwall. 5 miles from the beach
at Flushing & 8 miles to beaches at Portreath and Porthtowan on the
opposite coast. A good area for walking, National Trust gardens and
water sports. Half a mile from The Fox & Hounds pub (award winning
Country Pub Of The Year) which does good food.
One of 2 houses set away from the
road in a peaceful location amidst fields and woodland at the end of a
short private lane. ‘Woodgers’ is spacious and has a large garden, being
all the garden areas visible in the photos. In the side garden is
a large verandah with table & seating, the verandah leading off from
bedroom 1. A stable door from the kitchen opens onto a small rear patio
area with seating (sun trap).
