is a luxury cottage set amidst beautiful countryside
near Jacobstow village, 8 miles from Boscastle, North Cornwall. Crackington
Haven sandy beach 4 miles. Bude beach resort is 8 miles. This is
a small & really pretty cottage, ground floor accommodation only, sympathetically
converted from an ancient stone barn during 2006 and retaining original
character features such as exposed beams. It is situated at
the end of a surfaced farm lane, opposite the owner’s farmhouse, on a smallholding.
Enjoy the attractive country walks leading from the cottage, over to the
duck lake (complete with ducks) a few 100 yards away, or along the
small stream, or take the footpath through the fields taking one
in the direction of Week St Mary village and pub.

Bedroom 1 has 1 double bed & en-suite shower room with shower, washbasin
& toilet. Open plan living
area. The lounge area has a colour T.V. & DVD. The kitchen
area has an electric oven, microwave and fridge. Central heating

A high standard victorian character
cottage in a lovely setting on Dartmoor, approx 5 miles from Plymouth,
4 miles to Plympton and 8 miles to Ivybridge, South Devon.
Under 9 miles to Wembury Beach and Newton Ferrers on the south devon coast.
This terraced cottage is in tiny Wotter village a few miles from
Shaugh Prior and Lee Moor. Great for walkers or children because
you can walk straight out of the cottage onto open moorland, with
lovely walks across the moors and onwards to Shaugh Bridge,Cadover Bridge
and other moorland beauty spots. From the rear decked patio
(garden furniture,table and chairs) have your meal while enjoying
the spectacular panoramic views over the moors and countryside towards
the coast, with the sea at Plymouth Sound visible on a good day.
Wotter village is only tiny but does boast the Moorland Hotel which has
a bar and a steakhouse restaurant and is a few minutes stroll away. Nearby
Plymouth has a host of attractions including the historic waterside Hoe
and barbican areas, National Acquarium, Theatre Royal etc. Lots to
do and see in the area with National Trust houses such as Saltram
House and Buckland Abbey.

Coach House cottage, a recently modernised
cottage (originally a farm barn) situated in Morwenstow hamlet, near Kilkhampton,
5 miles from the beaches at Bude, North Cornwall. Duck Pool seaside
beauty spot & sandy beach at Coombe Valley 2 miles by road and
also via a lovely Nat Trust walk leading from the farm. Amidst lovely countryside
in a courtyard setting on a farm. Rear patio with seating. Farm gardens.
Over 10 acres of woods to walk in. A character farm style setting but the
actual farm buildings are a stroll away (dairy & beef farm). Approx
a 5 minutes stroll to the farm’s 2 ponds, 1 of which dates back to
medieval times and earlier. One pond, approx 66 yards long, was restocked
with coarse fish during 2010 (with carp, golden rudd & tench). Tench
and rudd up to 3 lbs and carp up to 10 lbs. The second pond, which was
originally used as a carp pond by local monks back in the 12 th cent and
is one of the oldest in the country ( featured on a T.V. programme) has
been set aside as a nature sanctuary, often hosting migratory birds such
as ducks. What makes the ponds so attractive is that they are in a wooded
setting, making a lovely venue for picnics, fishing, or just to enjoy the
scenery. Ground floor accommodation only.
