near Jacobstow village, 8 miles from Boscastle, North Cornwall. Crackington
Haven sandy beach 4 miles. Bude beach resort is 8 miles. This is
a small & really pretty cottage, ground floor accommodation only, sympathetically
converted from an ancient stone barn during 2006 and retaining original
character features such as exposed beams. It is situated at
the end of a surfaced farm lane, opposite the owner’s farmhouse, on a smallholding.
Enjoy the attractive country walks leading from the cottage, over to the
duck lake (complete with ducks) a few 100 yards away, or along the
small stream, or take the footpath through the fields taking one
in the direction of Week St Mary village and pub.

for both coasts, with beaches near St Austell approx 11 miles and at Padstow
on the opposite coast at 15 miles. The property is a barn conversion with
many character features, offering high standard and spacious accommodation
placed within large and attractive grounds, having both front and
rear lawns, the rear lawn having a paved barbecue and patio area (with
ready to use barbecue) & a second small patio.

Coach House cottage is a small &
recently modernised cottage (originally a farm building) situated in Morwenstow
hamlet, near Kilkhampton, 5 miles from the beaches at Bude, North Cornwall.
Duck Pool seaside beauty spot & sandy beach at Coombe Valley
2 miles by road and also via a lovely Nat Trust walk leading from the farm.
Amidst superb countryside in a courtyard setting on a farm. Small adjacent
lawn and rear patio with seating. Access is by a farm lane, & over
10 acres of woods to walk in. A character farm style setting but the actual
farm buildings are a stroll away (dairy & beef farm). Approx a
5 minutes stroll to the farm’s 2 ponds, 1 of which dates back to medieval
times and earlier. One pond, approx 66 yards long, was stocked with coarse
fish (carp,golden rudd & tench) during 2003 & 2004. Tench up to
3 lbs and carp up to 5 lbs.
The second pond, which was originally
used as a carp pond by local monks back in the 12 th cent and is one of
the oldest in the country ( featured on a T.V. programme) has been set
aside as a nature sanctuary, often hosting migratory birds such as ducks.
What makes the ponds so attractive is that they are in a wooded setting,
making a lovely venue for picnics, fishing, or just to enjoy the scenery.
