A pretty cottage,dating from the 17th cent, in the unspoilt village of Lansallos, 2  1/2 miles west of Polperro & 7 miles from Looe, East Cornwall. A mid-terraced cottage,one of 4 , in a quiet and picturesque rural setting. The cottage has  been renovated & refurbished during 2004 providing high  standard self-catering accommodation, with character features such as exposed beams . Under 20 minutes via footpath (see photo on inside of brochure cover) to Lansallos beach; footpaths leading to other mostly secluded beaches.The countryside around Lansallos is National Trust farmland, the area being ideal for walkers. Panoramic views from front bedroom  with a distant view of the  sea.The cottage has a reasonable size enclosed rear lawn & a small front garden area. Polperro is the prettiest & most photogenic of all Cornish fishing villages, with its narrow streets and colour washed cottages.The cottages cling to the steep sides of a long ravine & surround the harbour. A smuggler’s museum. Chat to the fishermen or watch catches being landed at the fish quay. Very  popular Looe has a fishing harbour, a myriad of quaint gift shops, Inns & adjacent beach. Boat trips (including mackerel fishing)  available from the quay.
Accommodation comprises: Bedroom 1 has 1 double bed. Bedroom 2  has 2 single beds. Duvets. Large kitchen/diner with electric cooker,microwave, washing machine & fridge. Shower room with shower, hand basin & toilet. Lounge with colour T.V. & DVD.   Night storage heaters in bedrooms and lounge. Also a coal effect electric heater in lounge. Adjacent off the road parking space for 1 car. £1 electric meter. No pets.
