ST COLUMB MAJOR 3 (Nr Newquay)       SLEEPS  2 to 5
Situated in the village of St Columb Major, North Cornwall  'Field View Cottage' is  an attractive semi-detached cottage  7 miles from Newquay and 5 miles from the superb sandy beaches at Watergate Bay and Mawgan Porth.  The village shops, 4 pubs (some provide excellent food) , cafes, chinese takeaway, childrens park etc are a few minutes walk away. Bedroom 1 enjoys  panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. The village of St Columb Major is a traditional and appealing cornish village with old stone cottages & buildings; a good central position for exploring Cornwall and with the added benefit of being within  easy reach  of the beaches along this superb coastline.
Accommodation comprises: Bedroom 1 has 1 double bed.  Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. Futon double bed-settee in lounge.  Lounge with T.V. & DVD.  The Kitchen/diner  has an  electric cooker, microwave and dishwasher.  Bathroom with bath, overhead shower, washbasin & toilet. There is also a downstairs toilet. There are  electric night storage heaters in all rooms and in addition the lounge has a woodburner affect electric fire. At the rear is an enclosed area with table and chairs.  Starter electric supplied and electric key meter (through town shops). Field View Cottage is in a quieter side street in the village and is a 315 yards  stroll to a 24 hours free car park  ( always plenty of room). Also 50 yards from a tiny car park which is free between 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. but otherwise is 3 per day (2011 prices). 1 dog welcome.

‘Hayle View Cottage’, a higher standard end-terraced cottage  approx 1 mile to the beaches at Hayle and 5 miles to the popular fishing village and beaches of St Ives, West Cornwall. From the cottages grounds, kitchen and  bedrooms 1 & 2  there are stunning  views over  Hayle and  St Ives Bay with a panoramic view of the sea (can watch the waves breaking on the beach). Hayle offers 3 miles of golden sandy beaches  with many restaurants and pubs.  Hayle Estuary is a nature reserve and Hayle is the ideal location for walking the coastal footpath. With Penzance only 7  miles this is a good spot from which to explore West Cornwall. The cottage is set on the edge of the secluded wooded grounds of Tolroy Manor holiday village and the Manor House amenities are avaible (the cottage owner having paid the membership fees).  Hayle View Cottage has been  furnished with great attention to provide appealing and very comfortable accommodation.  There is a small front and side garden area  with table and chairs.
Accommodation comprises. Bedroom 1 has 1 double bed. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. Bedroom 3 has 1 single bed. Open plan living area. The lounge area has a colour T.V. (Freeview). The kitchen area has a double oven with cermaic hob unit, microwave, fridge/freezer and  washing machine.  Dining area with seating for 6. Downstairs bathroom with a bath, overhead shower, washbasin & toilet.
Tolroy Manor amenities:  Swimming pool and other amenities are available from March 9 to Nov 2. There is a licensed club with good entertainment, bar food and takeaway. The Foxy Club will keep the children amused.  Snooker, a games room with pool table and latest video games. Lovely indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, squash and tennis courts, shop and launderette. Chidrens outdoor play area with slide etc. 100 yards to the mini car park shared with adjoining cottages.  1 dog welcome.
