sandy beaches and cliff walks, and footpaths leading from stratton
village.

miles. Fowey is one of Cornwall’s most romantic and picturesque harbour
towns, on the banks of the river Fowey; a colourful scene of boats
and yachts. A quaint network of narrow streets run down to the waterfront,
with shops, The Ship Inn and many other harbour pubs and eating places.
River and sea trips from the quay and a passenger ferry runs acroos
to Polruan on the other side of the river. Just south of Fowey is a magnificent
coastal walk through woods, past empty coves and across fields to Gribbin
Head and even further onto Polkerris and the huge sandy beaches at Par.
The holiday house is conveniently placed for nipping into the town or for
exploring further afield. There is a perfectly enclosed rear garden
with patio area (garden furniture).

‘Rough Tor Cottage’ is a higher standard
and charming semi-detached stone cottage dating from about 1850 and
situated on the outskirts of the small town of Camelford, North Cornwall.
Only 5 miles to the good sandy beach at Trebarwith Strand and under
6 miles to Tintagel and Boscastle. Just a short stroll to the towns leisure
centre with swimming pool and fitness studio. Under a quarter
of a mile into Camelford main street and shops, well worth the visit.
Just off the main street is the North Cornwall Museum and proceeding down
the street are varied and interesting shops, pubs (The Darlington
Inn and the Masons Arms) , restaurants and cafes. At the end of the
street is the attractive Enfield Park (childrens play area with swings
etc), an attractive riverside setting for strolling in. .
‘Rough Tor Cottage’ is one of a small
number of cottages in a small courtyard setting, ground floor only,
the cottage having been renovated in recent years but retaining a
few interesting features such as the slate floor. There is
a small front area to sit in with garden style table and chairs.
