‘Lower Poulza Post Farmhouse’ is an  attractive  and high standard detached c.18 th century chacter cottage on the outskirts of Jacobstow village,  5 miles from the beach at Crackington Haven & 8 miles to Bude, North Cornwall.  Boscastle approx 8 miles. An old character cottage, probably once a farmhouse, amidst beautiful  countryside,  on a quiet country lane. Visit the stunning cliffs and sandy beach at Crackington Haven.  Relax in the sun at the family friendly seaside town and popular surfing beaches of Bude.  Wander around the picturesque harbour of Boscastle, or spend the day exploring the dramatic moors of North Cornwall.  Jacobstow, a picturesque village, can be reached by footpath leading from the cottage & footpaths to Crackington Haven & beyond.  Under 2 miles to the Wainhouse Inn which does good food. The cottage was modernised during 2004,  providing  comfortable accommodation, and retaining character features such as exposed beams; stable style door, etc. A rear grass garden; and a rear ochard for children to play in.

An end-terraced cottage (one of three cottages in the terace) in the traditional village of Kilkhampton under 4 miles to the beaches  at Bude,  North Cornwall. Excellent Sandymouth beach 3 miles. A General Stores in the village & two excellent pubs.  Under a mile away is Penstowe Manor which has an entertainment suite during the summer months with quality acts (can pay at door). An added attraction is that the cottage belongs to and is in the grounds of The London Inn , the Inn having a beer garden, bar and a restaurant with a good menu at reasonable prices. Also a takeaway menu.  Use of the Inn’s garden next to the parking area  just down the driveway from the holiday cottage.  The garden has a children’s play area with climbing frame, swings etc, leading to a second separate  garden.   Footpaths and walks from the village continue  along Coombe Valley, with its wooded sides, to
the coast and beach at Duckpool.  Walking here and along the cliff top coastal path provides the stunning scenery and views that this stretch of coastline has become known for.

‘The Warren’ is a high standard detached cottage near Lanivet, 2 miles from Bodmin and approx 4 miles from Lostwithiel, East Cornwall. Well positioned for both coasts with beaches near St Austell approx  11 miles and at Padstow on the opposite coast  15 miles.  The cottage is one of 3 properties tucked away in a quieter country setting,  having been recently converted & renovated (2005) from an older building, providing attractive and very comfortable accommodation at the end of a shared short driveway, next to the owner’s house. There is a seating area at the front of cottage with garden furniture but no true garden (the photo shows owner’s lawn).  The accommodation is ist floor only, with access by external staircase.  There is an adjacent dedicated parking space for 1 car as shown in photo (the garage is used by owner).
