‘Lower Poulza Post Farmhouse’ is an  attractive  and high standard detached c.18 th century chacter cottage on the outskirts of Jacobstow village,  5 miles from the beach at Crackington Haven & 8 miles to Bude, North Cornwall.  Boscastle approx 8 miles. An old character cottage, probably once a farmhouse, amidst beautiful  countryside,  on a quiet country lane. Visit the stunning cliffs and sandy beach at Crackington Haven.  Relax in the sun at the family friendly seaside town and popular surfing beaches of Bude.  Wander around the picturesque harbour of Boscastle, or spend the day exploring the dramatic moors of North Cornwall.  Jacobstow, a picturesque village, can be reached by footpath leading from the cottage & footpaths to Crackington Haven & beyond.  Under 2 miles to the Wainhouse Inn which does good food. The cottage was modernised during 2004,  providing  comfortable accommodation, and retaining character features such as exposed beams; stable style door, etc. A rear grass garden; and a rear ochard for children to play in.
Accommodation comprises: Bedroom 1 has 1 double bed.  Bedroom 2 has 1 double bed.  Bedroom 3  has 2 single beds.  Lounge with reclining sofas and colour T.V. ,DVD, SKY  (all the free channels). An upstairs alcove on the landing, with soft seating and a portable colour T.V. - so the children can watch their own programmes!  Roomy kitchen/diner with farm style Range Cooker (gas hobs & 4 ovens) and microwave.  Utility room with washing machine, freezer, fridge.  Upstairs shower room with shower unit, washbasin and toilet. Downstairs bathroom with bath, overhead shower, washbasin and toilet. Oil fired central heating inclusive. Also a coal/woodburner in lounge (fuel available locally). £1 electric meter. Large off the road parking for 3 cars as visible in photo. 1 small dog welcome.

An end-terraced cottage (one of three cottages in the terace) in the tiny traditional village of Kilkhampton under 4 miles to the beaches  at Bude,  North Cornwall. Excellent Sandymouth beach 3 miles. A General Stores in the village & two excellent pubs.  Under a mile away is Penstowe Manor which has an entertainment suite during the summer months with quality acts (can pay at door). The  cottage  is in the centre of the village a few minutes stroll over to shops and the  2 village pubs, The London Inn being  a quieter village style Inn  having a bar and a restaurant with a good menu at reasonable prices. Also a takeaway menu.
Footpaths and walks from the village continue  along Coombe Valley, with its wooded sides, to
the coast and beach at Duckpool.  Walking here and along the cliff top coastal path provides the stunning scenery and views that this stretch of coastline has become known for.
Accommodation comprises: Bedroom 1 has  1 double bed. Bedroom 2 has full size bunk beds (no wardrobe). Roomy open plan living area. Lounge area has a colour T.V. & DVD.  Kitchen area has an electric cooker, micro-wave & fridge/freezer. Use of washing machine. Bathroom with bath & toilet. Central heating on a timer switch.  No garden. Lots of off the road adjacent parking space for 2 cars at end of terrace (a large parking area shared with the other 2 cottages in the terrace). No pets.

BUDE 69             SLEEPS  2 TO 12             LINEN, CENTRAL HEATING & ELECTRIC  INCLUSIVE
A high standard and roomy semi-detached house in a quieter residential street in the beach resort of Bude, North Cornwall. Under 5 minutes level stroll to superb Crooklets beach and cafe and places to eat. A short walk into Bude town shops, beachside pubs and restaurants. Bude’s large classic sandy beaches are amongst the best in Cornwall. Bude has varied holiday attractions, a favourite for surfers; free huge open air swimming pool on the beach, golf course, leisure centre, boating & fishing on Bude canal and much more. At low tide try the approx  2 miles walk along the beaches to Sandymouth & the Coombe Valley or choose the cliff top option. This house is ideal for a family with children as there is a level walk down to the beach and the enclosed front garden with its large front gates (see photo) means greater safety for young children and 3 cars can be parked in the driveway (can also park on road outside, no restrictions). There is also a small rear garden with large decked patio (garden furniture), small barbecue and small lawn area.

A recently installed outside heated shower in rear garden which is great fun, ideal for washing children down as they come in from the beach or for returning surfers. Central heating. 1 dog welcome.
