Recommended. The Old Coach House is a higher standard & charming detached cottage in a quieter country setting on the edge of Charlestown village 1 mile from St Austell, Cornwall.  Under half a mile stroll to the harbour & beach at Charlestown with pub (Piers Morgan Inn-does food) on the waterfront . A few minutes stroll to the Rashleigh Arms (does food). Under 1 mile to excellent Carlyon Bay beach. Charlestown is an interesting & working survival of a Georgian cornish village with an 18th century harbour, used for filming The Onedin Line. Most original buildings, cooperages,  ropewalk, timber & clay stores remain. Shipwreck & Heritage Museum with village life tableaux & probably the most comprehensive shipwreck display in this country - usual  museum opening period is  Easter to October 16th.  Can walk from the cottage, through fields and woods, down to the village.
Accommodation comprises: Bedroom 1 has 1 double bed. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds.  Kitchen/diner with electric cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine, spin dryer. Lounge with colour T.V. Bathroom with bath & overhead shower.Central heating. Lovely enclosed  large rear garden . Parking in shared driveway . Babysitting by arrangement. No dogs.

Karenza is a nicely furnished small detached stone cottage on Trefronick Farm 1 mile from St Allen village & 5 miles from Truro, West Cornwall. This is a holiday style cottage - ground floor only. Situated on an arable farm, with its own driveway  & set in its own grounds, approx 40 yards from the farm courtyard.The cottage was converted from a barn in 1982 & retains some character with exposed beams etc. A pretty and quieter rural setting. An excellent central position with superb Perranporth beach 7 miles. Newquay 8 miles & Falmouth approx. 15 miles. Lots of attractions in the area: NatTrust properties, Truro Cathedral, Zoo & Water Fun Park at Newquay, & much more.
Accommodation comprises: Bedroom 1 has 1 double bed. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds.  Open plan living area with colour T.V. Kitchen area has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge. Bathroom with bath & overhead shower. Heating by 3 portable electric heaters. A free laundry room on farm with washing machine & tumble dryer. Can use adjacent grass areas  belonging to farm. Pleasant to sit in, plenty of room for children to play & garden furniture. Adjacent parking space for 2 cars.£1 electric meter. No suitable room for a cot. No pets.
