'Millers Rest' is an attractive & roomy luxury semi-cottage on  the outskirts of North Tamerton village,11 miles from the beaches at Bude &  9 miles to Widemouth Bay beaches, North Cornwall. The cottage was converted from a barn during 2003, is ground floor accommodation only and  situated at the bottom of a short driveway, away from the road.  Attractive furnishings, the bedrooms being furnished with Devon Pine. A picturesque rural setting. Adjacent play areas for children. The cottage has a tiny rear grass and a large  walled  front patio- suitable for sitting in (garden furniture supplied). A short stroll down to the stream (trout fishing-worm, spinning or fly) and also walks along part of the old Bude Canal.13 miles to Upper Tamar Lakes Water Park which is a nature reserve and has hire facilities for canoeing, windsurfing & sailing. Bude is a beach resort and has miles of classic sandy beaches, cliff walks, 10 pin bowling, leisure centre,indoor pool, free huge pool on the beach,golf course,outdoor tennis courts,rowing boats and coarse fishing on Bude canal, canal side walks. Horse riding in Holsworthy or Bude. Reduced green fees at selected nearby golf courses (via cottage owner). Small market town of Holsworthy is 4 miles and has a livestock and pannier market every wednesday.
