‘Thornton Lodge’ is a high standard detached  bungalow situated just outside St Merryn Village, 3 miles from Padstow, Cornwall. Only 2 & a half miles from superb beaches at Trevone, with  many other good beaches such as Harlyn & Tregarne within 5 miles. This is probably the best stretch of beaches in cornwall,with a magnificent coastline. Padstow is a delightful fishing village, now more widely known courtesy of the T.V. chef Rick Stein who has a fish restaurant in the village. Mackerel fishing trips available from Padstow & there is a ferry which will take you across the estuary to the beaches at Rock. The little village of St Merryn has good pubs, cafes & shops.  A short stroll to Indian restaurant and small bar above. The bungalow boasts a very private fully  enclosed garden and a barbecue area.  Adjacent off the road parking space (as shown with parked car in photo), with other paking on lane outside.
Acommodation comprises:Bedroom 1 has 1 double bed. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. Bedroom 3 has bunk beds (no wardrobe). Kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge & spin dryer. Lounge/diner with colour T.V.,video & DVD.  Bathroom with bath, overhead shower, toilet & washbasin. Small front sun lounge (not yet built when photo was taken) with sun loungers. Easy to keep warm (double glazing) with wall fitted electric convector heaters in bedrooms and lounge/diner. Lounge/diner also has an economy 7 night storage heater & electric fire. Electric Key meter (can recharge half a mile away in St Merryn village). No pets.

'Middle Cottage' , an attractively  renovated stone and cob terraced cottage nestling in the peaceful and tiny hamlet of Talskiddy, under 2 miles from St Columb Major village, 3 miles from lovely Mawgan Porth sandy beach, under 7 miles from Padstow & 8 miles from Newquay, North Cornwall.  This part of cornwall boasts probably the best beaches in the county, beaches running in an almost continuous line from Padstow to Newquay; the spectacular coastal walks being an added bonus.  Middle Cottage enjoys the delights of a  rural location amidst lovely countryside whilst also being near the coast. The owner has taken great trouble in providing appealing  accommodation,  retaining the original character of the cottage, with beamed ceilings etc.  Leading from the cottage take the short stroll down  the lane  to the  'Duck Pond' and there is a further pleasant walk down to a little ford over a tiny stream.  Nearby St Columb Major has pubs, shops restaurants and cafes.
Accommodation comprises: Bedroom 1 has 1 double bed & 1 Futon bed. Bedroom 2 has 1 double bed. Bedroom 3 has 1 single bed. Sleeping for 6 but maximum of 5 people please.  Lounge with  T.V. , DVD and feature fireplace. Kitchen/diner  with electric cooker, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher &  freezer. Bathroom with bath, overhead shower & toilet. Central heating and also a wood burner (1 free bag of logs supplied )  in lounge. Small side garden  with patio (table and chairs) and barbecue. Parking on lane outside cottage for 1 car (no restrictions). No pets.
