Anvil Cottage is a  semi-detached 18th cent stone cottage situated on Strawberry Bank Farm near Pyworthy village, 8 miles from the beaches at Bude, North Cornwall. Holsworthy 5  miles. A traditional and picturesque farm setting on a 40 acres livestock farm, the farmer living next door.The cottage was completely renovated, extended  & modernised during 1999  providing roomy & higher standard accommodation, yet retaining its original character features such as exposed beams; with  added touches such as the stable door entrance.The cottage has its own good size enclosed front lawn 20 yds from the front door and other areas for children to play on.Holidaymakers are welcome to stroll on the farm & also to watch the farmer at work by his forge in his traditional blacksmith’s shop in the farmyard.Under 1 mile to coarse and trout fishing on neighbouring farm’s lakes at £3 per rod per day;two lakes having carp & tench, one lake having trout (kept trout are approx £2.20 per pound/£1 per killogram).
Accommodation comprises: Bedroom 1 has 1 double bed. Bedroom 2 (downstairs) has 2 single beds. Bedroom 3 (a gallery bedroom with substantial staircase,in the open plan area) has 2 single beds. Also 1 childs single bed available for any room. Good size  open plan living area. Kitchen area has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine & spin dryer. Lounge/diner area with colour T.V., DVD, soft seating & seating at dining table for 6. Bathroom with bath & shower. toilet. Games room with table tennis and darts. Heating by night storage heaters & portable electric heaters. Adjacent off the road parking for 3 cars. Electric by reading meter. No dogs.

A roomy terraced cottage located in the heart of the traditional fishing village of Mevagissey.The cottage is situated on 3 floors. Part of the ground floor is occupied by   High Tide Art Gallery. Mevagissey is a quaint & picturesque old fishing village. Pubs, shops & restaurants are all within walking distance and the harbour is 125 level paces away. There are  lovely beaches on this sheltered coastline including Pentewan 2 miles and Gorran Haven 3 miles. The Eden Project is approx 6 miles and The Lost Gardens of Heligan border Mevagissey. New Year in Mevagissey is not to be missed, with people coming from all over Cornwall to welcome in the New Year in fancy dress.
