‘Trevella Bungalow’ is a high standard
& roomy detached bungalow situated in Bude, North Cornwalll.
A 12 minutes walk to superb Crooklets beach & a similar
stroll into Bude town shops, beachside pubs and restaurants. Other restaurants
are also just a few minutes stroll away.The bungalow is in a quieter position
with a good size garden and parking in driveway for 2 cars. Bude’s
large classic sandy beaches are amongst the best in Cornwall (see
our information sheet on Bude on page 27). The bungalow is in a great position
for enjoying Bude’s beaches and the spectaculay coastal walks. Bude is
a beach resort with varied holiday attractions, a favourite for surfers;
free huge open air swimming pool on beach , golf course, leisure centre,
boating & fishing on Bude canal and much more. At low tide try the
approx 2 miles walk to Sandymouth beach along the various beaches- or choose
the cliff top option. Killarney Springs and Brocklands adventure parks
for children (a lot under cover) are good value and under 5 miles away.

fridge. Washing machine & freezer in utility room. Lounge/diner

washbasin. Glass conservatory leading onto rear patio. Views of sea from
conservatory and lounge. Rear patio (sun trap) with seating, great for
barbecues. No pets.

Lee Barton Cottage is a nicely furnished
end-terraced farm cottage in Morwenstow hamlet near Kilkhampton, 5 miles
to the beaches at Bude , North Cornwall. Duckpool National Trust seaside
beauty spot & sandy beach is 2 miles by road;also
reached by a pretty Nat Trust walk leading from the cottage. The walk will
take you to sheltered Coombe Valley, a favourite with walkers, the beach
being at the sea end of this beautiful valley. Spectacular rugged cliff
and valley walks. It is not known whether the origin of the name of the
beach (‘Duckpool’) derives from the possible use of the venue as a place
of baptism for the baptist church (where those baptised would be immersed
in the ‘duck pool’- a pool formed where the valley stream enters the beach)
or whether the origin lays in the presence of ducks on this naturally formed
pool. The cottage itself is in a quaint character setting on a traditional
family farm (beef, dairy). Away from main road traffic. Large enclosed
rear lawn (the farm lawn). Can stroll in farm orchard area which leads
off from the lawn & in the woods & fields. A short stroll over
to the farm’s coarse fishing lake- stocked during 2003 and 2004 with tench,
roach and carp (tench up to 3 lbs and carp up to 8 lbs) , in a wooded setting-
an idyllic venue for picnics.

“Little Springfield
Barn” is a detached stone cottage in Halwill Junction
village, 8 miles from Holsworthy and 17 miles from Bude, North Cornwall.
A good position for exploring the local countryside and woodlands of Cornwall
and Devon and under 10 miles from Dartmoor. There are numerous
coarse fishing facilities in close proximity as well as golf courses. Halwill
Junction is a tiny village with village general stores and the Junction
Inn pub (restaurant and bar meals), both a short stroll from the cottage.
Holsworthy is a pleasant market town with a selection of shops, cafes,
restaurants and pubs and a pannier market every Wednesday in the town square.
A small cottage (visible on the left side in the photo) in
the heart of the countryside, converted from a barn, situated opposite
the owner’s bungalow. There is a front patio (now fenced to afford
privacy) with garden furniture. Adjacent off the road parking in
driveway.

plan living area. The lounge/dining area has a colour T.V. The kitchen
area has an electric cooker, microwave and fridge. Shower room
(wet floor) with shower unit (no steps) , toilet and washbasin. Easy

area and bedroom. 1 small dog welcome.
