amidst fields.Lovely Perranporth beach 7 miles. Newquay 8 miles & Falmouth approx15 miles. Lots of attractions in the area: National Trust properties,Truro Cathedral, Zoo & Water Fun Park at Newquay and much more.
Accommodation comprises: Bedroom 1 has 1 King size double bed. Bedroom 2 has 1 single bed. Bedroom 3 has 1 double bed. Bedroom 4 has 1 single bed.  Kitchen/diner with electric double oven, microwave, hob unit, fridge. Freezer. Washing machine. Lounge with colour T.V. Dining room. Bathroom with bath. Separate shower room. Free use of laundry room on farm (washing machine & tumble dryer). Large glass conservatory overlooking the lawn with seating to enjoy the sun. Enclosed surrounding garden with lawn. Adjacent off the road parking in driveway for 3 cars.  Oil fired central heating available if required, at £30 per week, payable to owner upon arrival. 2 electric convector heaters. No pets.

‘The Cottage’  is situated on Yeomadon Farm near Pyworthy village, 3 miles from Holsworthy market town and 8 miles from Bude beaches and the North Cornwall coast. This traditional beef farm is on the beautiful Cornwall/Devon border.  The cottage has its own large private garden and patio area with adjacent parking for 2 cars.  There are nice views from the cottage and garden over the surrounding countryside.  It has a traditional feel with wooden beams and stone walls but with modern facilities. Visitors are welcome to enjoy picturesque walks around the farm’s fields, lakes and woodland.  A short stroll to free fishing on the farm’s 4
lakes with carp up to 20 lbs and tench, roach, bream and crucian carp.  Visitors also have free use of the farm grass tennis court.  Plenty of things to do and see in the area as well as the local beaches, including the Eden Project (just over 1 hours drive away), Dartmoor and the coastal footpath for walking; National Trust properties and gardens; Roadford Reservoir for water sports and walks; Clovelly; Dartington Crystal where you can watch the glassware being made. Holsworthy has a leisure centre with indoor pool, shops and pubs and a large park.

Poachers Leat, a small detached bungalow in Carnell Green village  4 miles from Hayle & 6 miles from St Ives, West Cornwall. Camborne is 2 miles. Excellent sandy beaches at Hayle (Gwithian) and Portreath are approx 5 miles with Penzance within easy travelling distance. An ideal  central position for exploring this part of Cornwall. Carnell Green is a traditional old cornish village and great for walkers, with numerous footpaths and walks leading from the village. There is a village stores and an Inn  (the Inn is currently closed) and restaurant. A purpose built unique chalet style  bungalow set in its own grounds at the rear of the owners house and garden; access being via a shared side pathway with the owner;  Poachers Leat thereby being in a quiet position away from the road. The bungalow has its own off the road parking space at the front of the owners house. A holiday style bungalow which  although small, has some interesting features such as a timber roof terrace (table & chairs & seat swing) with external timber stairway access where you can enjoy al fresco meals whilst enjoying the stunning panpramic country views extending all the way to St Ives and the sea. There is a  Carp Pond at the front of the bungalow. The front surfaced garden area has seating and also provision for a hammock, which is available for use. This property has a 3 STAR Cornwall Tourist Board rating.
Accommodation comprises: Bedroom 1 is spacious and has 1 King size double bed. En-suite shower room with electric power shower unit, wasbasin and toilet . Double sofa bed in the lounge area suitable for 1 person.   Roomy conservatory lounge (with picture window over the Carp Pond) which includes a kitchenette. The kitchenette area has a fridge, a table top cooker with oven and 2 rings and a microwave oven. The lounge has a feature opaque roof which makes for a very light and airy feel to the property. There is a T.V. & DVD and free internet access is available in the lounge area. At front of bungalow is an enclosed covered courtyard area with access through patio doors to side, with steps up to roof garden.  Heating by a wood burning cast iron potbelly stove in the lounge (fuel supplied at cost) and  electric wall heaters (thermostat controlled) in the lounge area and  bedroom. 1 dog welcome (£10 extra, payable to property owner upon arrival).
Short breaks are available from the first week in September to the end of May at  70% of the price for 3 nights and at 80% of the price for 4 nights.
