Recommended.  ‘Thistledome’ is a  nicely furnished  detached dormer bungalow at Freathy, Whitsand Bay, 3 miles from Portwrinkle and 9 miles from Looe, East Cornwall. Plymouth via Torpoint Ferry is only 6 miles. Small pleasure boat with return trips from  Cawsand village and beach (4 miles away) landing at famous Plymouth Hoe and Barbican- with Plymouth city shops immediately behind. Other nearby attractions such as Nat Trust Anthony house and grounds.
The bungalow is situated  on a rural  coastal road, only a few hundred yards from the nearly 3 miles of  glorious sandy beaches known as Whitsand Bay. The bungalow has almost unsurpassed and stunning views over the beach and sea, from lounge, conservatory and front patio/barbecue area (with seating).  Leading from the bungalow is a gentle and staggered cliff walk down to the beach (under 10 minutes, should be suitable for most children), passing pretty holiday chalets which dot the pathway.  Under  1 mile further along the beach is a beach cafe. Miles of beautiful cliff and beach walks.‘Thistledome’ has an enclosed  top   front  grass garden and also a bottom  grass area.

Kitchen with electric cooker, hob unit, microwave, washing machine. Fridge/freezer. Downstairs shower room with toilet, washbasin & shower. 2nd downstairs toilet with washbasin. Off peak storage heaters throughout. Own parking bay at front of bungalow (visible  in bungalow photo) for 3 cars- also parking area for 2 cars opposite bungalow. No pets.

Hollybank is an attractive & high standard detached modern bungalow in the tiny hamlet of London Apprentice 2 miles from St Austell,Cornwall. Between the Eden Project & Heligan Gardens. The harbour of Charleston,St Austell & the excellent beach at Pentewan Sands are 2 miles. Mevagissey is 4 miles. Short stroll  to a restaurant; pub 1 mile. The bungalow is in a country setting on a hillside with beautiful views over Kings  Woods and the Pentewan valley. It is one of 3 properties at the end of a short private lane.
