'Penfound Country Cottage', a high standard and spacious  semi-detached old stone cottage, situated on the outskirts of Poundstock village under 3 miles from the beaches at Widemouth Bay & 5 miles from the beaches at Bude, North Cornwall.  A quiet and relaxing country setting on a  dairy and sheep farm (children will love the 2 miniature ponies-30 inches high at the shoulder).  Lovely views over the surrounding countryside, the cottage boasting its own  enclosed large  rear lawn (garden furniture and  barbecue). The accommodation is ground floor.  Nearby Widemouth Bay and  Bude have large classic sandy beaches (good for surfing) with a wide selection of places to eat and enjoy a drink.  Bude, being a beach resort, has  lots of  attractions (canal walk, huge free open air swimming pool on the beach, boating up the canal, ten pin bowling, golf course etc). This stretch of coastline is well known for its spectacular coastal footpaths and cliff walks. A short distance southwards  are the popular coastal beauty spots of Boscastle (ancient  fishing village) and Tintagel (King Arthur's Castle).
Accommodation comprises: Bedroom 1 has 1 double bed. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. Large lounge with T.V. (DVD & Video).  Good size kitchen/diner with electric oven and hob unit, microwave, fridge/freezer &  dishwasher. Bathroom with bath, overhead shower, washbasin & toilet. Laundry room with washing machine & tumble dryer. Heating by electric night storage heaters & an open fire in lounge (small charge for logs). Large glazed porch area. Off the road adjacent parking for 2 cars. Electric by reading meter at end of holiday. No pets.

‘Posada’ is a roomy & high standard self-contained 1st Floor apartment in a detached modern house (there is a 2nd apartment beneath), amongst older houses in a favourite residential area, in Bude town, North Cornwall. A quieter  location, a stroll to town shops, pubs, cafes & 18 hole golf course. Under 10 minutes walk to the superb sandy beach (allows dogs)  with large outdoor tidal swimming pool. Ideal for those who enjoy a beach holiday. Quarter of a mile to ‘Splash’ indoor heated swimming pool with wave machine.
Accommodation comprises: Upstairs: Bedroom 1 has 1 double bed & fitted wardrobe. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds.  Open plan living area with  T.V., DVD. Kitchen area has breakfast bar (seating for 4) with electric cooker, microwave, fridge. Tiny dining table with seating for 2. Bathroom with bath & overhead shower. Downstairs: Small lobby area with staircase to 1st Floor. Own self- contained door onto porch entrance.  No garden. ‘Dolphin House’ is a nicely furnished & large end-terraced house in the beach resort of Bude, North Cornwall. Under 7  minutes  level stroll to superb Crooklets beach. A similar walk into Bude town shops, beachside pubs and restaurants.The house is in a quieter residential position overlooking the golf course (day tickets). Bude’s  large classic sandy beaches are amongst the best in Cornwall.  Bude has varied holiday attractions, a favourite for surfers; free huge open air swimming pool on the beach, golf course, leisure centre, boating & fishing on Bude canal and much more. At low tide try the approx 2 miles walk along the beaches to Sandymouth & the Coombe Valley- or choose the cliff top option. Killarney Springs and Brocklands adventure parks for children (a lot under cover) are good value and under 5 miles away. The house has an  enclosed small lawn at front & side.
