BUDE
One of the loveliest
beach resorts in cornwall. A quieter resort in a rural area
of unspoilt countryside. Huge classic sandy beaches.
At low tide the beaches all join together and there are miles of beach
and cliff walks. Bude is great for surfing, with surf equipment hire
available-the surf championships are often held here. A feature unique
to Bude is the large free open air swimming pool on Summerlease beach.
Dogs are welcome on Summerlease and the main beaches (except for Crooklets
beach). Enjoy rowing (you can hire a rowing boat) and walks
along Bude Canal. Bude town has lots of cafes, restaurants
and the like, and is an alternative to the busier resort of Newquay.
