Lee Barton Farmhouse, a lovingly
modernised mid-terraced farmhouse in Morwenstow hamlet near Kilkhampton
village, 5 miles from the beaches at Bude, North Cornwall. Duckpool seaside
beauty spot & beach 2 and a half miles. The farmhouse retains
many character features such as original window seats, exposed beams, etc.
Situated on a 200 acre beef, dairy & corn farm. A pretty, rural setting
with pleasant walks on the farm’s woods and fields. The farmhouse opens
onto the large rear farm gardens and orchard as shown in photo.
Spectacular cliff & beach walks along this National Trust coastline.
A lovely National Trust footpath walk leading from the farm to Coombe Valley
and the beach. Approx a 5 minutes stroll to the farm’s 2 ponds,
1 of which dates back to medieval times and earlier. One pond, approx 66
yards long, was restocked during 2010 with coarse fish (carp
over 10 lb, tench & golden rudd up to 3lb). The other pond, which was
originally used as a carp pond by local monks back in the 12 th cent and
is one of the oldest in the country ( featured on a T.V. programme) has
been set aside as a nature sanctuary, often hosting migratory birds such
as ducks. What makes the ponds so attractive is that they are in a wooded
setting, making a lovely venue for picnics, fishing, or just to enjoy the
scenery. Farm play field with goal post, swings, etc.

now with a large widescreen T.V. (surround sound) & DVD. kitchen
with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and

by both an open log fire (logs from local garages) & 1 night storage
heater. A night storage heater on upstairs landing & 1 wall mounted

Liskeard, Cornwall. Approx 12 miles to the south coast at Looe and approx
17 miles to the north coast. One of 4 properties at the end of a
short driveway, enjoying magnificent and panoramic views over surrounding
countryside and Bodmin Moor. On the edge of Bodmin Moor so great for walkers;
footpaths into and around St Neot leading onto Goonzion Moor and continuing
onto Bodmin Moor. St Neot is an ancient and pretty traditional cornish
village with a church (oldest stained glass window in the country) and
village pub (The London Inn, does food). A stroll from the bungalow
a local farm does cream teas! 1 mile to the Halfway-House pub and restaurant.
5 miles from large Colliford lake (about 4 miles in circumference) on Bodmin
Moor with fishing, water activities and nature walks.

Loenter is situated in the village of
Mawnan Smith, South Cornwall, in two acres of private land and gardens.
The holiday accommodation is a spacious self contained ground floor rear
apartment of a large detached house, the owner living in the adjoining
house. Loenter is near the Helford River Estuary and under 4 miles to Falmouth
and 15 miles to Truro. Just a short stroll to the village which has an
Italian restaurant, Post Office & general stores and a thatched
pub (The Red Lion Inn-does food). Mawnan Smith is in an area of Outstanding
National Beauty with three magnificent tropical gardens nearby including
Trebah Gardens and Nat Trust Glendurgan. This is a great base for coastal
footpath walks, sailing and watersports (boats available for hire), fishing
or golf. The beautiful Helford Passage (famous for its wood-fringed creeks
and oysters) and Maenporth beach in the opposite direction are both 1 mile
away. There are many other local beaches and Loenter is an ideal location
for exploring the Lizard Peninsular, Kynance Cove and St Mawes. The Lost
Gardens of Heligan and The Eden Project are about a 45 minutes drive away.

if required). No children under 5 years please (but babies in a cot welcome).
