Newquay

Newquay is Cornwall's main beach resort and the reason is for all to see- magnificent beaches and a thriving resort town.  World famous Fistral beach is renowned for its surfing and surfers but Newquay is of course an ideal place for families and all ages.  This is reflected in the fact that Newquay has matured beyong the original beach resort concept and now has impressive restaurants, outdoor seating and whilst still retaining original attractions such as Newquay  Zoo and Waterworld it has changed its appeal to suit modern tastes and has definitely moved with the times, allowing  a more upmarket image. There are opportunities for sailing, Theatre shows and a night life. There are miles of rugged coastline and Newquay is at the centre of what is probably the best stretch of beaches in Cornwall- extending all the way from Perranporth to Padstow.
