Lanivet

A traditional & delightful old cornish village a few miles from Bodmin.  A small village with The Saints Way ancient coast to coast footpath, a major walkers rout, running through the village. Other footpaths leading from the village. The Camel Trail bicycle and walkers route (all the way to Padstow) finishes at nearby Bodmin( bicycle hire). 2 miles away is  National Trust Lanhydrock House & Gardens.   Lanivet has an anceient and large church, The Lanivet Inn (with restaurant-good food and also outside seating at the front), the Abbey Hotel (does cream teas) & also a fish and chip shop with a restaurant.  There is also a children's park with swings and slides etc.
