Cottages Padstow and area

Our holiday cottages in Padstow and area provide the perfect accommodation for a stay in the area. Padstows harbour is the towns main attraction and visitors find themselves drawn to it like a magnet. Fishing and pleasure craft sit side-by-side on their moorings, children fish for crabs from the harbour wall, quayside inns and cafes overlook the calm water. The town is a picturesque harbour town, one mile from the nearest good beach and across the river from Rock (ferry trip across the river). A pleasant coastal walk leading from the harbour, in the direction of Newquay. This is a somewhat upmarket town, in recent years associated with the TV chef Rick Stein, having individual and interesting shops, classy fish restaurants and of course Nick Steins own restaurant - but also cheaper venues. The Lobster Hatchery on the quay is worth a visit and has a low entrance fee. Padstow is the end destination for the Wadebridge To Padstow cycle route-the top tourist attraction by numbers in Cornwall (bike hire). In Fentonluna Lane visit the Tropical Bird and Butterfly Gardens. The 16 miles coastline from Padstow to Newquay is often said to have the best beaches in Cornwall, these include beaches at Constantine Bay, Trevone and Harlyn Bay. We look forward to you choosing one of our holiday cottages.
