Cottages Penzance and area

Penzance derives its name from the Cornish pen for holy and sans for headland. Walk around busy Penzance town with its mix of stylish restaurants, backstreet shops, artists galleries cafes and old cottages. Take photos of the Georgian Egyptian Hoouse, visit Penlee House Art Museum and Gardens a few minutes stroll friom the shops (19th cent Newlyn school of artists-free on saturdays). Stroll around Penzance harbour and admire the views. Just outside Penzance, a must and great fun is St Michaels Mount island and castle, reached by a causeway or a boat at high tide.
