Padstow is a picturesque harbour town, some one mile from the nearest good beach. An increasingly somewhat upmarket and worthwhile place to visit with individual and interesting shops, classy fish restaurants and of course Nick Steins restaurant- but also cheaper venues. Visit the Lobster Hatchery on the quay. Padstow is the end destination for the Wadebridge To Padstow cycle route-the top tourist attraction by numbers in Cornwall (bike hire).
