Famous for its excellent surfing beaches such as Fistral beach where surf championships are held. The magnificent beaches are long and sandy, backed by high cliffs with many caves. A busy family resort town. The town centre has plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants of all types with old cottages and houses as you move away from the centre; also a pretty harbour packed with boats.
