One of the loveliest beach resorts in Cornwall. A quieter resort in a rural area of unspolit countryside. Huge classic sandy beaches. At low tide the beasches all join together and there are miles of beach and cliff walks. Bude is great for surfing, with surf equipment hire available - the surf championships are often held here. A feature unique to Bude is the large free open air swimming pool on Summerlease beach. Bude town has lots of cafes, restaurants and the like, and is an alternative to the busier resort of Newquay.
