Govail Description

‘Govail’, a lovely semi-detached old stone cottage in the tiny country village of Drift 3 miles from Penzance, West Cornwall. 3 miles to the beaches at Penzance & 4 miles to the large sandy beaches and St Michael’s Mount at Marazion. The popular fishing villages of Mousehole & Newlyn are a few miles and ever popular St Ives is 9 miles. A small cottage, once the village blacksmiths, attractively furnished in cottage style with some original beamed ceilings and other character features. Lovely countryside setting with pleasant rural walks and footpaths leading from the cottage. Enclosed rear garden with trees, shrubs & flowers, garden table and chairs.

Accommodation

Bedroom 1 has 1 double bed and 1 cushion bed (for 1 child). Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. No children under 5 years please. Lounge/diner with T.V., DVD, dining table for 2 and open fire. Small sun conservatory with seating and small table, suitable for summer months. Kitchen/diner with electric cooker, microwave, tiny dishwasher, fridge/freezer & dining seating for 4. Washing machine. Downstairs bathroom with bath, overhead shower, washbasin & toilet.

Cottage Facilities

Electric and linen inclusive. Heating by coal fire in lounge (fuel from local shop, first bag free) and wall mounted electric heaters in bedrooms, kitchen and lounge area.

Miscellaneous Information

No children under 5 years please. Plenty of parking space for 2 cars in free Chapel car park (always plenty of room) opposite holiday cottage. 1 dog welcome.
