‘Woodgers’ is an impressive luxury semi-detached house dating from the 16th century amidst lovely countryside in the hamlet of Gwennap, 8 miles from Falmouth & Truro & 5 miles to Penryn, South Cornwall. The house is just north of Falmouth and is a great place from which to explore this part of cornwall. 5 miles from the beach at Flushing & 8 miles to beaches at Portreath and Porthtowan on the opposite coast. A good area for walking, National Trust gardens and water sports. Half a mile from The Fox & Hounds pub (award winning Country Pub Of The Year) which does good food. One of 2 houses set away from the road in a peaceful location amidst fields and woodland at the end of a short private lane. ‘Woodgers’ is spacious and has a large garden, being all the garden areas visible in the photos. In the side garden is a large verandah with table & seating, the verandah leading off from bedroom 1. A stable door from the kitchen opens onto a small rear patio area with seating (sun trap).

Accommodation

Bedroom 1 has 1 double bed with patio doors opening onto the side verandah with table and seating, ideal for morning breakfast. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. Bedroom 3 has 1 double bed. Kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and archway leading through to the dining room. Lounge with T.V. Upstairs bathroom with bath, washbasin & toilet. Downstairs shower room with shower, washbasin & toilet.

Cottage Facilities

Linen inclusive. Electric inclusive. Heating by night storage heaters throughout (including bedrooms) available if required at £15 per week payable upon arrival.
