Instaple House Description

‘Instable House’ is a great place to stay for both small and large groups. A detached house, set somewhat away from neighbours, at the bottom of a surfaced farm lane 2 miles from the village of Bradworthy and 10 miles from the beach resort of Bude, North Cornwall. 7 miles to lovely Sandymouth beach. Clovelly stepped fishing village 8 miles. A roomy house set in half an acre of enclosed gardens, surrounding lawns (patio, barbecue, garden furniture and badminton court); a quiet setting amidst lovely countryside. Bradworthy village has a few shops and the Bradworthy Inn (beer garden & restaurant). The 2 Tamar Lakes are 2 miles away. Upper Lake (82 acres) has a watersports centre with hire during the summer for canoeing, sailing & windsurfing. Also tea rooms and play facilities for children. Coarse fishing on the lake (a main competition lake) with carp up to 28lbs; 50lbs bags of bream and 20lbs bags of rudd can be expected. The Lower Lake is a nature sanctuary with birdwatching & walks.

Bedroom 1 has 1 double bed. Bedroom 2 has 1 double bed. Bedroom 3 has 3 single beds. Bedroom 4 has 2 single beds. Bedroom 5 has 1 single bed. Bedroom 6 (downstairs) has 1 single bed. Large kitchen/diner with electric hob unit, electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Utility room with washing machine. Main lounge with T.V. & DVD. 2nd lounge with T.V. Small games/play room with table football, darts, etc. Garage used as a play area with Table Tennis table. Upstairs bathroom with bath, overhead shower & toilet. Separate upstairs toilet. Also a downstairs toilet.

Cottage Facilities

2 Cots & a High Chair. Linen inclusive. £1 electric meter. Oil central heating available at £50 per week, payable upon arrival.

Parking in driveway for 3 cars; plus other parking nearby. No pets.
