Pollards Description
A superb 18th century semi-detached cottage with 14 acres of land in the ancient village of Stratton, next to Bude, North Cornwall. A roomy cottage, originally a farmhouse, with lots of character and original old features including a feature staircase and front door probably dating from the 18th century. The cottage is under 2 miles to Budes large classic sandy beaches. There is a perfectly enclosed large rear lawn and 14 acres of adjoining fields for children to play in. Animals in the fields. Stratton village is a traditional, pretty 17th century cornish village with its stone cottages, village square and ancient church. A short stroll to the villages 3 pubs & 1 shop including the large and first rate Tree Inn with its courtyard, bars, restaurant and its full size painting of Tony Paine, the 17th century cornish giant. For those interested in walking there are many pleasant footpaths leading from the village. Drive up the hill out of the village, down the other side and you are in Bude!

Bedroom 1 (downstairs) has 1 double bed. Bedroom 2 has 1 double bed & cot. Bedroom 3 has 1 double bed. Bedroom 4 has 2 single beds & 1 single put-u-up bed. Maximum of 8 people please. Dining room. Bathroom with bath & overhead shower. Lounge with T.V. & video. Glass sun-lounge overlooking the rear garden. Kitchen has an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine & microwave.
