Under 10 minutes walk to fantastic Summerlease beach. ‘Topsides’,a roomy & high standard self-contained 1st Floor apartment is in a detached house on a quieter residential side street amidst older houses in Bude town, North Cornwall. The house comprises only two apartments, a top and bottom apartment. A few minutes stroll to Bude's varied and interesting town shops, pubs,restaurants, cafes & 18 hole golf course. Under 10 minutes walk to superb Summerlease sandy beach (allows dogs) with its huge free open air swimming pool. Ideal for those who enjoy a beach holiday. Under 5 minutes walk to ‘Splash’ indoor heated swimming pool with wave machine and Ten Pin bowling. Own enclosed front garden with high side fence to afford some privacy, pleasant to sit in (garden bench). Bude is a quieter beach resort, renowned for its two main classic sandy beaches (Summerlease and Crooklets). Summerlease boasts the previously mentioned beach swimming pool,the impressive Bude Breakwater shielding an array of small fishing boats and a beach café serving a varied menu of good food. A few minutes stroll along the cliffs or beach will take you to next door Crooklets beach which boasts 2 modern beach cafes again with a good choice of quality food. At low tide the beaches join together for more than 3 miles in a northern direction and visitors can enjoy walks along the extensive beaches from Crooklets all the way to Sandymouth and beyond, or choose the spectacular clifftop option. Enjoy walks along old Bude Canal(rowing boat and kyak hire, passing the Wildlife Bird Sanctuary - preserved wetlands, great for bird watching). Drop into Bude's new museum (charts the history of Bude and is quite interesting) and enjoy the spectacular beach and sea views over Summerlease from the museum's indoor café or outside seating area. Surf hire available in the town (Bude is a top surfing venue) and other attractions such as open air tennis courts. Visit local attractions in the vicinity such as Hartland Abbey (private house and gardens open to the public)or the many secluded beaches/picturesque villages or historic places along this stretch of coast.

Upstairs: Bedroom 1 has 1 double bed & fitted wardrobe. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds.Bedroom 3 has 1 single bed. Open plan living area. Lounge area with Flat Screen T.V., DVD.and BT Infinity Internet WI-FI (bring own laptop). Patio doors at front of apartment open from the lounge area onto a balcony (with table and 2 chairs, catches the morning sun and is ideal for taking breakfast). Also A separate room/sitting area with second set of patio doors leading onto balcony. Dining area with seating for 5 at the dining table; also a breakfast bar with 2 bar stools. Kitchen area has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge, table top freezer and a washing machine/dryer. Bathroom with bath,overhead shower and toilet. The apartment is self-contained and has its own outside entrance via a flight of steps (so not suitable for inactive elderly or disabled).
