‘Tregarthen Barn’ is a higher standard & impressive detached cottage situated in the picturesque hamlet of Talskiddy under 2 miles from St Columb Major village, 4 & a half miles from the beautiful beach at Mawgan Porth, just over 5 miles to Watergate Bay, 7 miles to Porth beach and Newquay, North Cornwall. Padstow 8 miles. Eden Project approx 11 miles. A quiet rural setting amidst a small cluster of older houses. Just a stroll over to the village ‘Duck Pond’ and a further pleasant walk down to a little ford over the tiny stream on the edge of the village. St Columb Major has pubs, shops, restaurants and cafes. ‘Tregarthen Barn’ was converted from a barn during 2007 retaining some original & character features. Ground floor accommodation only. There is a good size surrounding garden with grass/lawn areas. Patio doors onto a very private rear patio with garden furniture for sitting in & a barbecue; with good views over the surrounding countryside. Tame lambs in field behind (spring & summer). The cottage is accessed by a short driveway.
